“The Never Ending Story” starts at 8PM on the 100 block of East Colorado Avenue.  Bring the kids, Bring a blanket or chair and enjoy the free showing.  (A trailer is available after the jump).

The evenings Art Walk has over 30 artists in attendance representing a variety of media from traditional plein air Oil Paintings to glass making to Photography.  The full press release can be found here if you want even more detail on the arts and artists.

As a bit of disclosure I am VP of the Monrovia Association of Fine Arts and will be one of the artists showing at the art walk.  (Yup, even I will partake in a little shameless self promotion from time to time).

I can’t make it to this, but am curious if you think the fires might affect the event. (I’m not great with geography!)

Monrovia is maybe 8-10 miles from the fires, and thank the powers that be, the wind has been blowing in such a manner that the last few days have been smoke and ash free. Should not be an issue at all for tonights Art Walk and Film Night.
