Archiving Angeles (AA): Boyle Heights Orphanage

The Los Angeles Orphanage in Boyle Heights was the only Catholic orphanage in the city. It welcomed all children regardless of race or religion.

The year was 1950.

    What an amazing building. I assume it’s long gone, yes?

    According to this: http://www.the-tidings.com/2005/0716/places.htm, it was condemned in the early 1950’s.
