NBCLOSANGELES is reporting that the LAPD would like you to not shoot your gun into the air on New Year’s Eve. You could maybe hurt somebody, and that would be bad.
It’s also against the law. And, dumb.
As of this posting, the department has not ruled out any other crimes as acceptable celebratory gestures. So, party on.

Ah…the sounds of NYE in the Valley…bullets and shotgun shot dropping on your roof and tinkling across car roofs. Yup, one aspect of old Valley Village I don’t miss. At least in my new ‘hood the aim is clear and bodies are left in plain view.
