I always like to mix basic economics with rock, so the song "supply and demand" rates up there as one of my favorites. abendele@gmail.com

Walk Idiot Walk is a close 2nd, for me. But "Hate To Say I Told You So" is still the one that I never get enough of. It's just a great rock 'n' roll song, period. And their live version of it on "Last Call w/Carson Daly" was fantastic. Pelle seems like he's an amped up version of Mick Jagger, to great effect. They have great energy in their show, and I'd love to see it live.

I've always loved the Hives because they were pretty much awesome and full of energy, but Find Another Girl is one of my favorites. I always envisioned it as one of those songs that bands do in the middle of the set when they want to make it a little more intimate and connect with the crowd on another level. First thing first and that means that the lights have to dim. Then, Pelle would bring out a stool and half sit on it as he sang while the rest of the guys would be slowly swaying along to that lounge-y keyboard beat as the crowd reminisces about our own heartbreaks. Then it would just go back to their crazy stage show, but everyone in the crowd would forever have shared that moment with them.

Eagles of Death Metal has been one of my favorite band names for some time. And it reminds me of the Mojo Nixon song "Don Henley Must Die," with the timeless lyric "Don Henley must die! Don't let him get back together with Glenn Frey!"

The Hives' new CD is the BOMB; anyone who hasn't heard it should pick it up. Their new song "T.H.E.H.I.V.E.S." is my current favorite and may be their best pop song ever but my overall favorite would be their first huge hit "Hate to Say"
