And on the flip side… nothing. Your call is put on hold indefinitely. Officers arrive after the crime has been committed, if they arrive at all. Everyone thinks your problem is someone else’s problem. There is no one to help you.

Interesting post. I’ve said it before when I lived in the valley I never had a problem with 911 response times out of either Noho or North Valley. Here in outer Monrovia I can’t complain either.
I never seen any issues with 911 here in LA, now if you put up an option on traffic then this poll might go through the roof.

If you dial 911 from a cell phone it goes to the CHP. Dial from a landline or call your local station, always better.
