Santa Anita Canyon Fire 4/26/08 10:45PM update, moving towards Sierra Madre

The city of Sierra Madre has listed Mandatory and Voluntary evacuations HERE.on its city web site.

”91204” who writes the Sierra Madre Blog has some photos on his blog HERE.

This picture and those after the jump are from my friend Shane Nichols and used with his permission.  He was in a North Eastern neighborhood in Sierra Madre just before sunset.  He does report no homes were lost in the area he was watching.  The photos of course are used with his permission.  I also have some pictures from earlier in the day on FLICKR.

I just snapped a photo from my backyard on the southern border of Sierra Madre. Somewhat disturbing:

Thanks for sharing raphael. Hope all is well with you, stay safe and do like me, cross your fingers and hope Sierra Madre fares well.

Dude, good job with the coverage fraz. I’m pretty sure I got more information from your posts than from the AP wire.

Thanks darlene, I got that message from more than a few people. Pretty sad when a gabacho with a keyboard can be considered a news source.

Great job Fraz…you and the FC’s Cent have definitely some work for this one. Thanks for putting it all together!
