Wyatt Earp moved here in 1901 and spent most of the rest of his life in LA - and the Mojave Desert. He also was in and out of LA much of the 19th Century - starting in the 1860's when his family lived in Colton.

Curb sneaking isn't bad all of the time. If I'm behind a slow driver, say, someone who is cell chatting away in their private 4-wheeled office, oblivious to the speed limit, then I have no problem passing their lolling ass.

A curb sneaker clipped my side view mirror this morning but I'm still picking the lack of history.

@hindinwood; I agree.

Besides, "Curb sneaking" can sometimes be confused with "theres a guy back there that's going to turn left and I don't want to get stuck behind him/her".

Also, waddya mean there's no history in LA? There's Egyptian , Mayan, Chinese, and that's just the theaters!

Curb sneaking is just one of many rude driving annoyances, while no respect for local history is a major problem that has plagued Los Angeles for the past 100 years, due to the influx of new residents. It has resulted in the loss of innumerable local treasures and culture.
