I’m not going to log into myspace to comment, but the meter in the photo was broken. (’FAIL’) The entire top section is the mechanism, which slides out.
The mechanism was replaced with a working one, to fix it. The ‘bling’ was clearly not removed on purpose – it was attached to the broken mechanism.
Whoever ‘blinged’ it should have blinged a working meter.
