Archiving Angeles (AA): Easter at Elysian

They came with bells, flutes, flowers and drums. Tangerines, incense, candles and joy. They came for the experience. For the movement. For the sounds of Seventh Son, Firesign Theatre, and the Steve Miller Band.
It was L.A.’s first “Love-In” at Elysian Park. It was Easter Sunday. It was the Summer of Love.
Maybe your parents were there.
The year was 1967.
