• Chris Franklin at usedcarsalesman.com argues that LA is the US Capital for beautiful women. He says that the “ratio of beautiful actresses in Los Angeles vs. NYC is about 10-to-1, even after taking in to account NYC’s few thousand or so fashion models and showgirls… And then you throw in the numbers of LA’s gorgeous fitness women and Orange County/San Diego beach babes, then the numbers just get out of hand versus NYC.”

• Caroline on Crack (via LAist) reminds us that the Hollywood Bowl 2008 Summer Season has been announced!

• After having spent the last 8 months in Santa Fe, Will Keightley is preparing to move back to LA. In honor of this, he has started a series on his blog of songs about LA. The first song featured: Bran Van 3000 – “Drinking In L.A.”

• Liz Rizzo of Everyday Goddess does a picture meme and my personal favorite response of hers is for #4: Her favorite movie is L.A. Story. Even though that movie doesn’t top my all-time favorite movie list, it is up there for me, too.
