One Order Per Person, Please

subway_logo_large.jpgDear Nurse,

You were at the Subway on Van Nuys and Addison today, placing multiple orders.

Actually, I’m not entirely sure you were a nurse. You were wearing fuschia-colored scrubs with white Crocs. Maybe you’re an accountant or a production coordinator, and you just like to be comfortable. I like to be comfortable, too. That’s why I’m currently naked. Anyhoo…

You had a list of sandwich requests that your co-workers must have hastily scribbled out for you. It was all very confusing, wasn’t it? I mean, to learn that they all needed to be toasted after the sandwich artist had already topped them off with veggies was a stressful moment for everyone, including the 12 of us that were in line behind you.

I hope everyone else in the office liked their lunch. Good choice on the cookies, by the way. Those peanut butter ones are quite tasty. And don’t think for a second that you were holding us up at all when they rang you up. It is more than understandable that you would want to get rid of some of that loose change in your bag. Pennies and nickels are so annoying!

Have a great rest of the day!

Jason
