Metromix [1] has a poll today on their website asking where the eastside begins. As of this posting, “The LA River” is dead last…

…although it has been brought to my attention [3] in no uncertain terms [4] that, according to all historic documents, the River IS actually where it starts. Where you YOU arbitrarily divide the city into generalized sociocultural poles? Let the comments fly!!!
