I used to walk by a loquat tree afterschool everyday when I was in grade school. I liked them so much that I convinced my mom to plant some seeds for a tree of our own. Our tree never did grow too large, but it produced some large fruits. This columnist doesn’t even explain what issues he has with this fruit. I have no idea what he might find gross about it.

Now I want some.
