Los Angeles Desktops

If you are one of those people who can’t get enough of Los Angeles and need it on your desktop as well then you are in luck. This image just got posted over on MacDesktops which is a super tight composite of 3 NASA images of the Los Angeles basin. I don’t think this can replace my current OSX Planet but it’s not a bad option. [thanks chris!]

    This image was created with NASA’s World Wind, a freely downloadable (and awesome) app that lets you see satellite photos of any place on Earth in 3D.
