A DAY IN THE LIFE OF COACHELLA

I just read this piece on Coachella in the OC Weekly and thought it was such a nice piece of writing that I wanted to share. I skipped Hipsterstock this year, so I can’t attest to the veracity but I’m wondering why there aren’t more music writers like this as opposed to the typical swollen, pasty wash-out with a chip on his shoulder? I don’t typically read the OC Weekly’s music coverage. Am I missing out?

Ahh, I don’t want to grow up to be a swollen, pasty wash-out with a chip on my shoulder. I’m looking to a career as a music journalist, but I have some time to decide since I don’t start college until September. Went to Coachella last year and was disappointed that I couldn’t go again. The line-up was incredible.

The writing was fun, but it hurt my eyes to read–does this writer know about paragraphs? Sad to say I was not at the festival, and would’ve loved to have seen the ole Pixies.
